Tom Brady extended warm Mother's Day wishes to all the mothers in his life on Sunday, including his former partners Bridget Moynahan and Gisele Bündchen. The NFL legend shared a series of photos on Instagram, one of which showed Bündchen kissing their son Jack, with Moynahan smiling in the background. Although Jack is now 18, the image was captured years ago, before he surpassed his parents in height. These days, even the 6-foot-4-inch Brady looks up to his eldest son.
A Tribute to Family
In another post, Brady acknowledged his sisters Julie, Maureen, and Nancy, along with 'all the amazing mothers in the world.' Among the snapshots was a tender photo of his mother, Galynn, cradling her granddaughter Vivian. 'Happy Mother's Day to the best mom in the world,' Brady wrote. 'This picture perfectly sums up who you are, Mom.'
Brady also shared a picture of Bündchen kissing Jack while Moynahan beamed. Another photo featured Brady's children—Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian—with his ex-wife Bündchen. The former couple split in 2022 after 13 years of marriage and share two children: 16-year-old Ben and 13-year-old Vivian. Bündchen also has a child with her current partner, Joaquim Valente.
Co-Parenting and Gratitude
Throughout his NFL career, Brady often ended on-field television interviews with a cheerful 'Hi, Mom!' His mother, Galynn, is a breast cancer survivor, having overcome the disease in April 2017. Despite their divorce, Brady and Bündchen continue to speak positively about each other on social media. Last year, Brady made a similar Mother's Day post, thanking both Moynahan and Bündchen, as well as his sisters and mother.
Brady and Moynahan were never married but learned they were expecting a child after splitting in late 2006. 'Next thing you know, I found out that Bridget was pregnant with our son,' Brady told Howard Stern in 2020. 'So that was a very unique time … and it challenged me in a lot of ways, again, to grow up in a different way. It was very hard for [Bündchen] to think she fell in love with this guy, and then now this guy's ex-girlfriend's pregnant. And it was very challenging for my son's mom, [Moynahan] because she didn't envision that either.'
Beyond Football
Among Brady's flurry of Sunday morning Instagram posts was a plug for his Las Vegas Aces, the WNBA team he co-owns with Las Vegas Raiders boss Mark Davis. His final post featured his WNBA championship ring, which he and the Aces players received on Saturday. Brady is currently heading into his third season as a Fox Sports NFL analyst.
