Three people, including a child, have tragically died after falling from a high-rise block of flats in Elephant and Castle, south London. Emergency services were called to the UNCLE building on Churchyard Row at 7.29am on Wednesday.

A woman, a man, and a child were found deceased at the scene despite concerted efforts by paramedics to resuscitate them. Their next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.

The Metropolitan Police are treating the deaths as unexpected, and no other injuries have been reported. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
