The twist involves Zack Hudson, the biological half-brother of Sharon Watts, and Vicki Fowler, who is Sharon's adoptive half-sister through Den Watts, meaning there is no blood relation.
Sharon Marshall explained: 'Sharon’s back, she’s going to find out that her brother is sleeping with her sister. Messy, messy!' A shocked Sian interjected: 'Sorry, her brother is sleeping with her…' and Sharon confirmed: 'Yes.' She then clarified: 'It’s alright, it’s not a blood relation because Sharon was adopted by Dirty Den. So although her brother is sleeping with her sister, they aren’t actually biologically related.' The trio burst into laughter before moving on.
Vicki is set to marry Ross Marshall in Wednesday night's episode, with Zack as best man. Actress Alice Haig said Vicki is trying to 'put Zack behind her' but feels guilty about the affair. She turns to Kathy Beale, the first to know about the affair, and realises her attraction to Zack was about regaining control after being attacked by Ross's son Joel.

Alice noted that Vicki's affair with Zack was tied to 'her regaining some kind of control over her life and her body after everything that happened with Joel.' Ultimately, Vicki loves Ross and wants to marry him, finding strength to refuse Zack's advances.
