Stacey Solomon has finally addressed the widespread speculation surrounding her marriage to Joe Swash, dismissing rumours of a split and opening up about the pressures of being in the public eye. The couple, who met on the set of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010, began their relationship in 2016 and married in 2022. They reside in a stunning Essex home known as Pickle Cottage with their children: Rex, seven; Rose, four; Belle, two; as well as Stacey's older sons Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, and Joe's son Harry, 18, from previous relationships.
Addressing the Rumours
In recent months, there had been intense speculation about the couple's relationship, with reports suggesting they had hit a rocky patch and even claims that they were never officially married. However, Stacey Solomon has now spoken out, dismissing the gossip as baseless. Speaking on the Out Unpacked podcast, she said: 'Who cares if the whole world is like: 'Oh, they're on the brink of divorce'? Being in the public eye I think creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship because half the time what they're saying, if we know it's not true, who cares?'
A United Front
Over the weekend, Stacey and Joe put on a united front as they threw an incredible pool party for their son Rex's seventh birthday at their Essex home. The images shared on social media showed a joyful celebration complete with inflatables shaped like fruits, unicorns, and flamingos. The couple appeared happy and relaxed, surrounded by family and friends.
Stacey also offered a candid glimpse into her relationship with Joe, explaining that like any couple, they have their ups and downs. 'Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can't wait to come home to see him. Sometimes I'm like: 'Get out of my stratosphere - stay away from me.' I think we're just like any other couple,' she added.
The couple's ability to laugh off the rumours and focus on their family has endeared them to fans, who continue to support them despite the constant media scrutiny.
