Stacey Solomon has addressed recent speculation about her marriage to Joe Swash, dismissing rumours of difficulties. The couple, who met on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010, began their relationship in 2016 and married in 2022. They live at Pickle Cottage in Essex with their children: Rex, seven, Rose, four, and Belle, two, as well as Stacey's older sons Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, and Joe's son Harry, 18.
In recent months, there had been widespread speculation about their relationship, including claims that they had hit a rocky patch and were never officially married. Addressing the rumours on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, Stacey said: 'Who cares if the whole world is like: "Oh, they're on the brink of divorce"? Being in the public eye I think creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship because half the time what they're saying... if we know it's not true, who cares?'
She added: 'Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can't wait to come home to see him. Sometimes I'm like: "Get out of my stratosphere – stay away from me." I think we're just like any other couple.' Over the weekend, the couple were all smiles as they threw a pool party for their son Rex's seventh birthday at Pickle Cottage, complete with inflatables shaped like fruits, unicorns, and flamingos.
