Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has marked his second consecutive Premier League Golden Boot award by sharing an image of his two trophies together. The Egyptian international finished the season with 22 goals, tying with Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Last season, Salah won the award outright with a record-breaking 32 goals in his debut Premier League campaign. Despite Liverpool narrowly missing out on the league title to Manchester City by one point, Salah's individual achievement highlights his continued prolific form.
Salah scored five goals in his final six league matches, demonstrating a strong finish to the season. In addition to his goals, he provided 11 assists, underlining his creative contribution to the team. Although he faced some criticism earlier in the season, his overall performance has been significant for Liverpool.
Liverpool still have the chance to end the season with silverware, as they face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final on June 1. Salah has scored four goals in 11 Champions League appearances this season.
