Dialog, the invite-only secret society co-founded by Peter Thiel, has cancelled its 2026 summer meeting after hacktivists exposed the venue and dates. The gathering, due to be held from August 12-16 at Powerscourt Hotel near Dublin, was expected to draw more than 200 politicians, military leaders, technology executives, and financiers.
World War Three on the agenda
Leaked materials showed the agenda included a session on how the world can navigate World War Three, along with sessions titled "How's Your Sex Life?", "How to Build a Cult," and "Bring Back Nuclear."
The organisation holds off-the-record summits for powerful figures from politics, finance, military, celebrity, and tech. No attendee list has ever been made public, and Dialog has spent two decades refusing to disclose member identities, running a private website instead.
Leaked names
Registration records reportedly included General Alexus Grynkewich, NATO's supreme allied commander Europe and head of US European Command, who took the post in July 2025. Also listed were Senator Ted Cruz, Elon Musk, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Palantir cofounder Joe Lonsdale, actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Josh Brolin, former Downing Street AI advisor Matt Clifford, and Tory MP and former security minister Tom Tugendhat.
How Dialog grades members
According to leaked information, Dialog staff and their artificial intelligence tools create dossiers on every member and potential member, grading them A, B, or C based on their desirability to the group. A C is given to the most famous and influential, A is for established members who are less notable, while most people receive a B.
Swiss hacktivist maia arson crimew, who previously leaked the US government's no-fly list and hacked surveillance-camera company Verkada, was behind the leak, according to WIRED.
What next
Documents also revealed that sessions are designed to be off-the-record, with participants encouraged to speak freely without attribution. Insiders now believe a new top secret venue will be hunted for at short notice.
