A journalist has suggested that if Sarah Ferguson gives a tell-all interview, she will avoid discussing one particular royal but may speak about others. Samara Gill, speaking on The Sun's royal podcast, indicated that the prospect of such an interview could unsettle the Royal Family.
Sarah, the former Duchess of York, has largely stepped back from public life after her husband Andrew lost his titles amid the deepening scandal linked to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew denies the allegations but has been stripped of his prince title and is moving to the Sandringham estate, leaving Sarah free to speak if she wishes.
Gill said: 'I think it's not right that she is going to speak out, but I think she will. Should she? I mean she needs the money, she needs the cash, it's as simple as that.' She added: 'Because she probably won't brief about Andrew, she probably won't even really talk about herself unless it's about her struggle, she might talk about other Royal Family members and throw them under the bus.'
Royal experts have also weighed in on Sarah's state of mind. Hilary Fordwich told Fox News that Sarah no longer believes in Andrew and is ready to go her own way after years of loyalty. Broadcaster Helena Chard suggested Sarah is worried about the impact of the scandals on her daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, saying: 'Her nerves are frayed. She is shaken to the core by the loss of her royal safety net.'
