Sarah Ferguson Appears in Multiple Epstein Files Photos, 2011 Apology Email Revealed
Sarah Ferguson in Multiple Epstein Files Photos

The newly released court documents from the Jeffrey Epstein case contain multiple photographs featuring Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York. The images form part of a substantial document dump from the US Department of Justice.

Duchess of York Pictured in Released Files

Among the thousands of pages made public, two distinct photos show Sarah Ferguson. In one image, she is seated on a sofa. A second picture captures her smiling on a street. In both photographs, she is accompanied by women whose identities have been redacted from the files.

It is crucial to note that her presence in these files does not imply any suggestion of wrongdoing on her part. The documents are a collection of evidence and depositions from the long-running investigations into the convicted sex offender.

Leaked 2011 Email Reveals Apology to Epstein

The photo revelation follows the earlier leak of a personal email sent by the Duchess. Dated April 2011, the message shows Sarah Ferguson apologising to Jeffrey Epstein, whom she described as a “steadfast, generous and supreme friend.”

This private correspondence is particularly striking because it was sent just weeks after she publicly declared she would “never have anything to do with” Epstein again. The financier was at that time a registered sex offender, having been convicted in 2008.

Broader Context of the Document Release

The files featuring the Duchess are part of a much larger cache that includes references to numerous high-profile individuals from politics, royalty, and entertainment. Other figures mentioned in the documents include former US President Bill Clinton and the late singer Michael Jackson.

The release has sparked significant political reaction. US Congressman Ro Khanna has criticised the transparency of the process, stating, “They have not been transparent” regarding the partial publication of the files. The documents were released by the US Department of Justice under the Trump administration on Friday 19 December 2025.

This development ensures the Epstein case, and the network surrounding the disgraced financier, remains under intense public and media scrutiny, raising continued questions about the extent of his associations.
