The fifth and final season of Prime Video's hit comic book drama The Boys has concluded, leaving fans eager to discover the fate of Ryan (Cameron Crovetti). Since his introduction in the first season, Ryan's complex relationship with his father, Homelander (Antony Starr), has been a central storyline. In season five, Ryan aligns with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) to oppose Homelander after he declares himself God and attempts to establish a New World Order.
Does Ryan Die in The Boys Finale?
No, fans will be relieved to learn that Ryan survives the finale and does not join forces with Homelander. Early in the episode, Homelander visits Ryan but fails to sway him. Later, Ryan joins Billy and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) at the White House to confront Homelander. A blast from Kimiko strips them of their powers, and Billy kills Homelander as he begs for his life.
Ryan's Future After Homelander's Fall
After the Boys disband, Billy offers to take Ryan in, but he declines. Instead, Ryan is taken in by Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso) and Monique (Frances Turner) after they renew their vows. While Ryan survives, other characters meet tragic ends, including Oh Father (Daveed Diggs) and The Deep (Chace Crawford). Billy's dog Terror dies peacefully, and Billy himself is shot by Hughie to prevent him from releasing a supe-killing virus.
The Boys is available to stream on Prime Video.
