Manchester United legend Roy Keane saw his daughter Leah marry Southampton and England defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis on Tuesday. The ceremony took place at Kin House in Wiltshire, with Keane walking the 24-year-old down the aisle. The couple became engaged in 2024 after a trip to the Amalfi Coast and already share a daughter, Iris, born in December.
Leah's wedding is the second marriage among Keane's five children in recent months, following his son Aidan's wedding last year. However, the family has faced challenges, particularly with the health of Keane's second-eldest daughter, Caragh, who was diagnosed with lupus in 2021.
Caragh, 30, has documented her struggle with the autoimmune disease, which left her bed-bound for weeks and forced her to give up her job as a primary school teacher. She told PA Real Life in 2025: 'Life was over. There was no way out. I wouldn't be here without them [parents Roy and Theresa].' She experienced hair loss, blistered skin, painful joints, fatigue, and memory loss.
Despite the difficulties, Caragh has launched a wellness brand called Superkeen and become an advocate for lupus awareness. She also became engaged to her long-term partner recently. Keane's other daughters, Shannon and Alanna, keep their private lives largely out of the spotlight.
Harwood-Bellis has spoken highly of his father-in-law, saying Keane has his best interests at heart. Keane has joked about having an England international son-in-law, particularly after Harwood-Bellis scored against the Republic of Ireland in his only England appearance. Keane captioned a photo from Leah's wedding: 'Beautiful day celebrating my son and his wife.'
