Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been ridiculed after posting a badly photoshopped image of himself with President Donald Trump and other MAGA allies for Thanksgiving. The Health and Human Services Secretary shared the picture on X, showing the group gathered around a festive meal on a plane, but users quickly spotted it was altered.
The original photo, posted by Donald Trump Jr. in November 2024, depicted the same group surrounded by McDonald's fast food, including Kennedy holding a burger. The contrast was stark given Kennedy's 'Make America Healthy Again' campaign, which criticises processed foods.
Critics accused Kennedy of using generative AI, with one user calling for a ban on AI in political accounts. Others defended the edit, joking the new meal was 'way better' than the original. Trump Jr. had previously revealed the 3am McDonald's run, noting Kennedy 'definitely looks like he got his hand caught in the cookie jar'.
Kennedy has been vocal about Trump's diet, calling it 'poison' on a podcast days before the original photo. His wife, Cheryl Hines, recently said he brings his own sauerkraut to restaurants due to his strict dietary regime.
