Reform UK's Malcolm Offord Silent Over Porn Star's Vulgar Voter Rant
Reform UK's Offord Silent Over Porn Star's Voter Rant

Malcolm Offord, the newly elected Scottish leader of Reform UK, has declined to address questions regarding his decision to pose for photographs with an OnlyFans model who had just unleashed a vitriolic tirade against voters. Lord Offord maintained a stony silence when pressed on whether he endorsed the inflammatory comments made by Lana Wolf, whose real name is Emily Linton.

Offensive Remarks and Social Media Posts

Wolf, a pornographic content creator, directed abusive language at voters in Edinburgh Central and Glasgow Southside on Friday, referring to them as 'f****** c****' for electing Green constituency MSPs. She further posted on X that 'Aberdeen is full of sissies' following the SNP's victory in Aberdeen Central, and 'Edinburgh is full of retards' after Green Lorna Slater secured Edinburgh Central.

According to the Glasgow Bell website, Wolf later attended a Reform party event at Glasgow's Marriott Hotel, where she posed for pictures with Lord Offord and Glasgow MSP Thomas Kerr. Wolf, who participated in a Tommy Robinson anti-immigration march in London last year while wearing a Union Jack bikini, shared an image of herself with Lord Offord on X, referring to him as 'the gaffer'. She also posed with Mr Kerr, who follows her on X, stating: 'This guy is just what Glasgow needs!'

Refusal to Comment

At Holyrood on Tuesday, Lord Offord was directly asked whether Wolf's comments were acceptable. He remained silent and refused to utter a single word. When approached for his reaction, Mr Kerr snapped: 'Get a grip.' Wolf later claimed on social media: 'I was invited, I didn't just gatecrash. I love going to these kind of events and being pro-sex work, but it is nerve-racking.'

Political Backlash

Scottish Tory deputy leader Rachael Hamilton condemned the incident, stating: 'This again calls into question Lord Offord's judgment. He should explain why he thinks it was appropriate to pose for pictures with someone who has made some deeply offensive comments. The fact that he won't tells its own story.'

Scottish Liberal Democrat deputy leader Wendy Chamberlain MP added: 'Malcolm Offord and Thomas Kerr don't seem to have a problem with someone who uses such abhorrent language about the voting public. Scotland deserves grown-ups, not the grotesque.'

Political Context

Last week's elections saw both Reform UK and Scottish Labour secure 17 MSPs each. However, Labour leader Anas Sarwar insisted his party was the main opposition, given it won more votes, and thus should lead at First Minister's Questions. He argued that other parties aiming to 'limit the influence' of Reform must now decide which party to back as the principal opposition force.
