Quiz Closes All 37 UK Stores as Fashion Retailer Enters Administration
Quiz Shuts All 37 UK Stores After Administration

Quiz, the beloved British fashion retailer, has announced the closure of all 37 of its remaining stores across the United Kingdom after being placed into administration for the second time in just over a year. The company confirmed that administrators from Interpath have been appointed and will oversee a phased closure programme over the coming weeks.

Final Closing Down Sales

Alistair McAlinden, head of Interpath in Scotland and joint administrator, urged shoppers to visit their local stores during the May Bank Holiday weekend as the retailer begins its final closing-down sale. Geoff Jacobs, managing director at Interpath and fellow joint administrator, expressed gratitude to Quiz staff for their dedication and professionalism under challenging circumstances.

Background of Administration

This marks the second time Quiz has collapsed into administration in just over a year. The retailer previously entered administration in February 2025 but was rescued through a pre-pack deal by a subsidiary of the founding Ramzan family. However, the rescue proved temporary, and the chain is now closing all standalone stores.

Notably, Quiz concessions located within New Look and Matalan stores throughout the UK are not affected by the administration and will continue to operate as usual.
