Priscilla Presley has spoken publicly about the emotional toll her daughter Lisa Marie's death in 2023 has taken on the family, admitting that the loss has left them feeling separated.
Speaking at an event at Westgate Las Vegas over the weekend, the 80-year-old said family gatherings had become less frequent since Lisa Marie died at the age of 54 from complications related to weight loss surgery she had undergone years earlier.
Referring to her late daughter's youngest children, twins Finley and Harper, Priscilla noted that the 18-year-olds now have their own lives. However, her son Navarone Garibaldi, 39, disagreed with his mother's assessment, pointing instead to the 2020 suicide of Lisa Marie's son, Benjamin Keough, as the moment the family first began to drift apart.
“Everybody grieves in different ways, and everybody felt, you know, put blame on somebody in different ways,” Garibaldi explained, adding that the family is now, after Lisa Marie's death, “coming closer together”.
In addition to Benjamin and the twins, Lisa Marie is survived by her daughter Riley, 36, from her marriage to Danny Keough. Priscilla has previously described losing Lisa Marie as “the second saddest day of my life, other than losing Elvis”.
The family has also faced a public legal dispute over Lisa Marie's estate, with Riley ultimately named as sole trustee. Despite a letter from Riley to Priscilla being made public in September 2025, Priscilla has insisted there has never been a feud between them, saying, “Riley and I have never had a problem.”
