Princess Eugenie Opens Up About Parenting Guilt and Her Mother's Advice

Princess Eugenie has candidly discussed the challenges of motherhood, revealing she often struggles with feelings of guilt. The 36-year-old royal, who is expecting her third child this summer, spoke on the Lessons From Our Mothers podcast about the pressure to be a perfect parent.

Eugenie admitted that she sometimes feels guilty for not being present all the time or for losing her temper. She shared that she tries to remind herself that children are 'little people' and that it is okay if routines like bath time are occasionally missed.

The princess credited her mother, Sarah Ferguson, for helping her navigate these feelings. She recalled that her mother always prioritised spending time with children over adults, and advised her not to let guilt consume her days, as 'the days are so precious'.
