Photographs released by the US Justice Department show Prince Andrew alongside convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, revealing how he facilitated their access to British high society. One image depicts Andrew reclining across five people at Sandringham, with Maxwell looking down at him. Another shows Epstein and Maxwell hunting at Balmoral and in the royal box at Ascot.
The images, part of a trove of documents made public under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, include a photo of Maxwell outside 10 Downing Street and another of her with Bill Clinton and Kevin Spacey in Churchill's war rooms. Andrew's former wife, Sarah Ferguson, also appears in some pictures.
Andrew's association with Epstein led to his departure from royal duties in 2019 and the loss of his titles in 2022. He settled a lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre, who alleged he sexually assaulted her when she was trafficked by Epstein. The documents also feature images of Bill Clinton, Mick Jagger, and Michael Jackson, though no wrongdoing is suggested.
Peter Mandelson, former UK ambassador to the US, is pictured with Epstein, having facilitated a meeting with Tony Blair. Many files remain heavily redacted, drawing criticism from lawmakers and victims' lawyers.
