Jacqueline Falk, the adopted daughter of legendary Columbo star Peter Falk, has died by suicide in Los Angeles at the age of 60. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office officially declared her death a suicide, confirming that she hanged herself at a residence on Monday.
Family Background
Jacqueline was one of two daughters adopted by Peter Falk and his first wife, Alyce Mayo, whom he married in 1960 after their college romance. The couple divorced in 1976. Both of Jacqueline's parents predeceased her: Peter Falk passed away in 2011 at the age of 83 following a battle with Alzheimer's disease, while Alyce Mayo died in 2016 at the age of 85.
