Paris Hilton Breaks Silence on Ghislaine Maxwell Recruitment Claims
Paris Hilton addresses Ghislaine Maxwell recruitment claim

Socialite and media personality Paris Hilton has publicly addressed the long-standing rumour that Ghislaine Maxwell attempted to recruit her for the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The Alleged Party Encounter

According to reports, the incident occurred when Hilton was just 19 years old and was spotted at one of Maxwell's parties. A former friend of Maxwell, Christopher Mason, claimed in 2020 that Maxwell saw the young 'It Girl' and allegedly remarked, "Oh my god," stating that Paris would be "perfect for Jeffrey" and enquiring if an introduction could be made.

Maxwell, who was in a relationship with Epstein during the 1990s, was later convicted in 2021 for her central role in his sex trafficking operation, acting as a recruiter who groomed underage girls. Epstein died by suicide in jail in 2019.

Hilton's Response and Maxwell's Current Situation

Now 44 and a mother of two, Hilton has broken her silence in an interview with the Sunday Times magazine. She firmly stated that she does not remember ever meeting Ghislaine Maxwell. Hilton suggested that her high-profile name and status may have drawn her into the media storm surrounding the case, commenting, "I'm such a good clickbait name."

This development comes amidst reports that Maxwell, 63, is seeking to have her 20-year prison sentence commuted. A whistleblower has claimed that Maxwell is preparing a formal request for Donald Trump to reduce her sentence. She is currently incarcerated at the Federal Prison Camp Bryan, a minimum-security facility in Texas for non-violent offenders.
