Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has been missing in Dubai since last Wednesday, but doubts are growing over the kidnap claims. A former police officer and an insider have pointed out details that 'do not add up'.
Questionable Claims Before Disappearance
In the weeks before his disappearance, Lee Andrews reportedly boasted to acquaintances about being an international arms dealer. A source told The Sun: 'Lee said he had many jobs, one being an international arms dealer. He seemed really proud of it. He boasted repeatedly to anyone who cared to listen that he worked with dangerous people. He bragged about it, and then he gets kidnapped.' The insider added: 'It's almost as if he's been writing a storyline.'
Inconsistencies in the Timeline
Another report from The Sun revealed that Lee's WhatsApp status showed he was last online on Saturday, May 16, at 17:56 – days after his alleged kidnapping. An insider commented: 'Three days after he was 'taken' he was using his phone. It doesn't add up.'
Former Police Officer Weighs In
Investigative journalist and former police officer Mark Williams-Thomas has questioned the kidnap narrative. He noted that according to Katie Price, Lee called her on Wednesday evening and said he was in a van with a hood over his head, his hands tied. But he managed to FaceTime her without telling her to call the police, and he did not call the police himself. 'That's slightly strange, isn't it?' Williams-Thomas said. He also questioned whether the matter had been reported to Dubai police and doubted the seriousness of the alleged abduction.
Accusations of a 'Ridiculous Game'
Williams-Thomas accused Lee of 'playing some ridiculous game' and suggested he may be hiding or ghosting Katie Price. Speaking on TikTok, he said: 'I don't think anyone believes Lee Andrews has been abducted or kidnapped in any way at all. He's obviously playing some ridiculous game, but it's attracted the media, and it will no doubt unfold more over the forthcoming days. Clearly this is a man who's got some serious issues.'
The insider concluded that the timing and nature of Lee's pre-disappearance claims cast doubt on the kidnap tale, leaving many to question the truth behind the missing person case.
