Meghan Markle's friend Tan France has defended her Netflix lifestyle series 'With Love, Meghan' following widespread criticism. The show, which aired last year, was described by some as 'an utterly deranged bizarro world voyage into the centre of nothing'.
Appearing on 'Vanessa' on Wednesday, the 'Queer Eye' star addressed the backlash, noting that the programme was never intended for British audiences. 'The Brits are too cynical, they don't care about the whimsy,' he said, adding that life in England is too hard for such pursuits.
France also praised Meghan's fashion sense, stating she dresses 'wicked' and does not need his advice. The show featured the Duchess cooking, crafting, and hosting celebrity guests, paying homage to her pre-royal blog 'The Tig'.
Despite failing to crack Netflix's top 1,000 most-watched programmes, with only two million views in the second half of 2025, additional holiday specials are reportedly in development.
