A violent clash between two armed gangs erupted at the annual 420 event in Hyde Park on Saturday, leaving a man in his 20s with a suspected stab wound. Footage from the scene shows individuals wielding machetes and attacking each other with broken glass bottles, as terrified onlookers flee.
Police were called to the western part of the park at around 4:40pm following reports of a fight. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service attended and found the injured man, who was taken to hospital with a potentially life-threatening condition.
The incident occurred during the 420 pro-cannabis rally, which drew over 30,000 attendees this year. It remains unclear whether the stabbing is linked to the event. Detective investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
