Love Island series 13 has only aired two episodes, but viewers have already identified several red flags among the male contestants. Fans have taken to social media to warn female Islanders to 'run' from certain men, accusing them of manipulative behaviour and game play.
One of the most criticised contestants is Lorenzo, who has been accused of negging his partner Jasmine. He told her she gave 'sassy b***h' vibes, which he claimed was a compliment, and earlier called her 'promiscuous' before backtracking. Viewers described his behaviour as a 'HUGE red flag'.
On the spin-off show Love Island: The Debrief, panellist Shakira Khan suggested that Lorenzo is 'dating for male validation'. She pointed out that he said he wanted a 'super model' that 'every guy looks at', and urged Jasmine to be more fun in group settings despite her saying she is not loud.
Game play has also been spotted, with Ope choosing Angelista over Ellie, the blonde Scot he said he wanted, and George pursuing loud blonde Robyn despite stating he did not want that type. Both men have been accused of not being true to their stated desires.
