Lothians West Labour MSP Leads Holyrood Debate for Jo Cox

Lothians West Labour MSP Jenny Young led a Members' debate at Holyrood marking the 10th anniversary of the death of Jo Cox. Jo Cox was a Labour MP who was murdered in 2016 outside a library in Birstall where she was about to hold a constituency surgery in her Batley and Spen constituency.

Young's speech honoured Jo's life and work, as well as her legacy. The Jo Cox Foundation was set up by Jo's friends and family in the wake of her death to champion the ideals Jo spent her life fighting for.
