Liverpool are set to lose two of Jurgen Klopp's assistant coaches, with the duo expected to depart Anfield in the coming weeks. The exits come amid a challenging season for the Reds, who have won just two of their opening eight Premier League matches.
According to sources close to the club, the assistants have decided to pursue new opportunities elsewhere, though their identities have not been officially confirmed. The departures add to the growing uncertainty surrounding Klopp's long-term future at Liverpool.
Former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann has suggested that Klopp's time at the club could be nearing an end. Speaking to talkSport, Hamann pointed to 'little signs' such as Jordan Henderson's reluctance to be substituted as evidence of growing discontent within the squad.
Hamann said: 'At some stage, I think we will have that discussion about the manager and I’m not sure how far we are off that. The dynamics at Liverpool are no different to anywhere else and if the results aren’t there then the manager will come under pressure.'
Liverpool currently sit 14 points behind league leaders Arsenal after a 3-2 defeat at the Emirates on Sunday. Klopp's contract runs until 2026, but the recent slump has raised questions about whether he can revive the team's fortunes.
