The Lewis family, the majority owners of Tottenham Hotspur through their company Enic, have pledged to rebuild trust with supporters and promised meaningful change following back-to-back 17th-place finishes in the Premier League.
In a letter to fans, the family said they were "bitterly disappointed" with recent seasons and accepted ultimate responsibility for the club's current situation. They acknowledged that problems had been allowed to build over several years and that trust had been eroded.
The letter confirmed that the club is not for sale, stating: "We are all in. We are investing in it." The family said investment would be made in the teams, the academy, and backroom functions, with a commitment to putting football first.
The announcement comes after Daniel Levy, who had been the club's long-serving chair and key decision-maker, stepped down in September following a review commissioned by the Lewis family at the start of 2025. Chief executive Vinai Venkatesham remains in post.
The family said a rebuild had begun and that change would be deep and take time, adding: "We know that actions will speak louder than words." They also expressed a desire to recapture the club's spirit of excitement, fearlessness, and bold football.
