Lee Andrews, the husband of former glamour model Katie Price, has reportedly been released from Al Awir prison in Dubai after weeks of legal uncertainty. The self-proclaimed businessman had been detained over a private civil matter, contrary to his earlier claims of espionage suspicions.
Andrews vanished in May after failing to appear on Good Morning Britain with his wife. Price initially claimed he had been kidnapped, but later it emerged he was held in prison. Despite a scheduled release on June 1, he remained incarcerated, prompting Price to travel to Dubai to assist with his legal battles, though she returned to the UK alone.
Reports indicate that Andrews' release fee escalated to £140,000, leading him to ask Price to launch a GoFundMe campaign. However, Price reportedly refused, telling him in a phone call: 'No one will do that for you, Lee, trust me. Everyone hates you.'
Following his release, Price has teased a bonus episode of her podcast, 'The Katie Price Show,' in which she plans to discuss 'all the Lee stuff.' In a Facebook teaser, she described Al Awir prison as 'the most notorious in Dubai' and claimed she is 'a victim myself' after learning more about her husband's past.
Price also met with Andrews' ex-wife, Dina Taji, during her Dubai trip, hinting at further revelations in the upcoming podcast episode. The situation has sparked public curiosity, with one social media user asking: 'Wonder what's next?'
