Katie Price has joked about her missing husband Lee Andrews with pal Olivia Attwood, telling followers 'we're missing our husbands'. The former glamour model last spoke to Lee on May 13th, and his whereabouts remain unconfirmed. Lee's father claims he has been arrested in Dubai, but Katie denies this.
In a voice message shared by Katie, she told Lee's dad that her husband had three mobile phones, two of which were taken. Lee allegedly said: 'They've taken two of my phones. They don't know I'm on this phone.' Katie added in a caption: 'My head felt like it was about to explode with all the noise and the chaos.'
Mirror reporter Jasmine Allday has been investigating the case. She noted that the UK Foreign Office has only issued a standard statement: 'We are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with the local authorities.' Despite claims of a kidnap and arrest, the Foreign Office has not updated its response.
Lee's Instagram bio has changed since his disappearance, and his account has reportedly been logged in recently. Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend Alana Percival posted about karma, sharing quotes such as: 'Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves.'
Sources close to Katie say she is refusing to give up on Lee, despite pleas from loved ones. 'Her family are telling her, 'Get rid of the ring and end this marriage,' but she can't,' a source told The Mirror. Katie has been asked to make a television appeal for information and is said to be eager to help.
