Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has been ordered to pay over £100,000 to secure his release from a Dubai prison, according to reports. The 40-year-old has been detained since last month after failing to appear on ITV's Good Morning Britain, with initial claims of espionage later revealed to be a private civil matter.
A source told The Sun that Price is desperately working to secure her husband's freedom, visiting the prison multiple times to sort out paperwork. However, any release is not straightforward, as even if the sum is paid, it could take weeks for the paperwork to be processed.
Price, who flew to Dubai with a videographer, has been visiting courts, the prison, and a police station, but has not yet seen her husband. She shared a video on Facebook explaining her need to cover up due to the heat while attending these official locations.
The couple married in January 2022, just two days after meeting in person for the first time, having previously communicated on social media. Andrews vanished without trace last month, leaving Price worried, but she later made contact via a phone call arranged by his father.
