Katie Price's Husband Claims She'll Fund His Life in Dubai Prison

Lee Andrews, the husband of Katie Price, is reportedly telling fellow inmates at Dubai's Al-Awir prison that his wife will send him money to fund his life behind bars. Andrews, who married Price in January shortly after meeting her for the first time, is currently detained and faces a £140,000 payment for his release.

According to sources, Andrews had previously asked Price to launch a GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds, but she refused, stating that 'everyone hates you'. Now, inmates claim he is boasting that Price will provide cash for purchases within the prison, where a card system known as 'punch' is used to buy snacks and cigarettes.

However, the Mirror understands that Price is not giving her husband any money. Andrews has the opportunity to earn money through prison work such as laundry and sewing, but he allegedly arrived with no funds and missed the initial order window. Inmates have access to televisions and a gym, which Andrews is said to frequent, but he has not yet been called up for organised football games.

Since his incarceration, Andrews has had his head shaved to prevent lice outbreaks among the 6,000 inmates. Additionally, a fan has accused Andrews of attempting to scam people from prison, with a man claiming to be his 'business manager' requesting a £5,000 investment via Facebook and WhatsApp. The Mirror has approached Price's spokesperson for comment.
