Katie Price abruptly ended her latest podcast episode after receiving a phone call from police, as the search for her missing husband Lee Andrews continues. The 47-year-old reality star was recording the Katie Price Show with her sister Sophie when she had to leave mid-recording.
Sophie informed listeners: 'Sorry for that intermission, Kate has had to shoot off because she is taking a call from the police, so that is it for today's episode.' The episode, titled 'My Tentacles Are Up, I'm Not Stupid', was cut short at 33 minutes, compared to the usual 40-45 minutes.
Earlier in the podcast, Price said she was stepping back from the case, stating: 'There's nothing more for me to say aside from the police are now handling it. The British police, the British consulate, the Foreign Office, and Interpol. They are all on the case now... I'm just leaving it to the police.'
Lee Andrews was reported missing last week after failing to return to the UK from Dubai. Price had previously expressed fears he had been kidnapped. However, reports have since emerged that he may be wanted by Interpol and is allegedly squatting in a run-down villa in Dubai.
The couple married in Dubai earlier this year, but Andrews was unable to join Price in the UK due to a travel ban. The ban reportedly relates to a fraud investigation, including allegations he took out a £200,000 mortgage in an ex-girlfriend's name. His social media profile, which claimed he was a CEO and investor, has been exposed as largely fabricated, with AI-generated photos alongside celebrities.
