Katie Price's Instagram account has disappeared, hours after she claimed to have spoken to her missing husband Lee Andrews, who she said is being held in a Dubai prison on suspicion of espionage. Searching for the former glamour model's page now yields an error message stating the 'profile isn’t available', leaving fans questioning whether she deleted it herself.
The 48-year-old revealed on Wednesday that she had finally made contact with Andrews, who she said phoned her from Dubai's Al Awir jail. In a rushed two-minute call, Andrews allegedly told her he was arrested as a suspected spy. Price said: 'I have found him. He is alive, and he is OK. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him.'
Andrews has not been heard from publicly in two weeks, with all updates coming through Price. His disappearance has sparked conspiracy theories, including claims that he has been scamming Price since their marriage in January. His ex-girlfriend, Alana Percival, has been a vocal critic, branding him a 'vile human' and a 'complete fantasist' in Instagram stories, alleging he is 'making a complete fool of himself and Kate'.
Price's fluctuating emotions have also raised eyebrows. She previously appeared panicked, claiming Andrews told her he was tied up in a van and taken to a black site. However, she was later seen mocking her missing husband in videos with Olivia Attwood, and promoting CBD oil to stay calm. In one clip, Price joked: 'We’re missing something,' to which Attwood replied: 'Yeah, I have looked for him but…' Price added: 'Well mine’s missing, so at the moment it doesn’t look good, does it?'
While Price's Instagram is gone, her YouTube page, including her podcast with sister Sophie, remains active. The situation continues to develop, with no official confirmation from Dubai authorities regarding Andrews' arrest or detention.
