Katie Price has confirmed that her husband, Lee Andrews, has been found alive and well after a two-week disappearance that sparked widespread concern. The 42-year-old former model told The Sun on Wednesday that she had spoken to Andrews, who claimed authorities in Dubai had mistaken him for a spy.
Price first raised the alarm on 16 May in a YouTube video, stating that Andrews had been missing for three days. She recounted their last FaceTime call, during which Andrews appeared to have his hands tied and was in a van with white mesh windows. She feared he may have been kidnapped.
The couple, who married in July 2019, had been due to appear together on Good Morning Britain on 12 May, but Andrews failed to show. Price initially said he was stuck at the airport, but later revealed he had not been in contact for days. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office confirmed they were supporting the family of a British man in Dubai.
Price said Andrews told her he was detained by authorities who thought he was a spy, but provided no further details. The Criminal Investigation Department in Dubai had been searching for him, but could not find any record of his detention. Price expressed relief that he is safe, stating, 'I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him.'
