Katie Price has given a bizarre update on her husband Lee Andrews, who remains missing, claiming he possesses three mobile phones. The former model, 48, shared the revelation in a new YouTube video, stating that Andrews told her his alleged kidnappers had taken two of his devices but that he was using a secret third phone to communicate with her.
The Dubai-based businessman was scheduled to fly to the UK for an interview with Good Morning Britain, his first television appearance since marrying Price days after their engagement. The couple met on social media before Price travelled to Dubai to solidify their relationship. Shortly thereafter, they became engaged and married within days, with only the two of them present.
However, events took a dramatic turn when Andrews failed to board his flight to the UK. Days later, he claimed he had been kidnapped and has not been seen since. His father has since asserted that Andrews is not missing but is instead incarcerated in prison.
Katie's YouTube Update
In her video, filmed a day after Andrews went missing, Price recounted a text message she received from him. She said: 'Because last night, they said, ‘They’ve taken two of my phones. They don’t know I’m on this phone’. And so he said, ‘I’ll just let you know I’ve been arrested. If they ring you.’ He wrote a text quick. I mean, I hope he’s all right, but I don’t know.'
Price then showed herself leaving a voice note for her father-in-law, whose number Andrews had given her moments before disappearing. Since then, Andrews' father claimed his son is under arrest, stating: 'Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge. I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today.'
Price Dismisses Claims as 'Fake News'
Price dismissed her father-in-law's statements as 'fake news', insisting: 'This is fake news. Lee is still missing. Me and his family know what’s going on and working with the authorities involved.'
Reports have since emerged that Andrews' phone is active again. A source told The Sun: 'I had been messaging Lee and was getting no response. But on Sunday morning, my messages had gone from a single tick to a double – so that device is back on and being used. Lee has multiple phones, but this is the one that is being used now.'
The situation remains unclear, with conflicting accounts from Price, her father-in-law, and anonymous sources. Authorities have not released any official statement regarding Andrews' whereabouts or status.
