Katie Price has reportedly realised her marriage to Lee Andrews is over, just months after a whirlwind romance that saw them engaged within hours of meeting in person. The 48-year-old former glamour model is said to be in 'pieces' after her husband's arrest and alleged deception.
Lee, who is being held at Al Awir prison in Dubai, was due to appear in the UK last month but failed to arrive. Initially, it was claimed he had been detained on suspicion of espionage, but it later emerged the arrest was due to a 'private civil matter'. A source told the Daily Mail that Katie is 'embarrassed' and 'can't believe how Lee has made her look'.
The source added: 'Katie is so confused, but ultimately it looks like she will be heading to the divorce court once again.' The couple's relationship has also caused a rift with Katie's family, with sister Sophie said to be 'fuming' after Katie ignored warnings not to fly to Dubai.
In a video shared on Facebook, Katie said she felt 'knackered' and 'stressed', and acknowledged her dramatic weight loss, saying: 'I actually look like a skeletal, look at that thigh.' She added: 'Life in general is stressed, but I'm good... obviously it takes a toll on your body.'
Katie has not yet been able to visit Lee in prison, but said she was heading there again to try to deliver belongings. She said: 'Time is running out... I still need to hear back from his lawyer if I can get a visit to see him.'
