Katie Price has been left furious after her Instagram account was deleted by Meta executives while they investigated complaints about her posts, according to reports. The account, which had 2.6 million followers, disappeared last week shortly after her husband Lee Andrews was found in Dubai.
Fans attempting to access her page saw a message stating: 'Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.' A source told The Sun that the deletion was triggered by complaints about her promoting CBD products, with some alleging she 'flashed a boob'.
Despite the investigation clearing Price of wrongdoing, the account reportedly cannot be recovered, meaning she will have to start from scratch with a new account and zero followers. The source described the situation as 'absolutely ridiculous' and blamed 'small-minded trolls' for making complaints 'for the sake of it'.
The deletion came shortly after Price had been using Instagram to update fans on her husband's disappearance. She had posted that Andrews was missing for three days before he was found in Dubai. Some speculated the account removal was linked to his return, but a source denied this, attributing it to complaints from 'miserable keyboard warriors'.
Price was initially told her account would be restored within 24 hours, but it now appears to be gone for good. The Mirror has contacted Meta for comment.
