Lee Andrews, the husband of model Katie Price, has been arrested in Dubai, according to his father Pete. The news comes after Andrews had been missing for over a week, leaving Price distressed.
Pete Andrews told the Daily Mail that his son is under arrest, though the charge remains unknown. 'Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don't know on what charge,' he said. Dubai Police Chief Brigadier Khalid Khalifa al Avadhi confirmed there are 'many cases against him'.
Price had earlier expressed concern after Andrews failed to appear for a joint interview on Good Morning Britain and stopped contacting her. She received a FaceTime call in which he claimed to have been cable-tied and bundled into a van. Later, text messages from his phone stated he had been arrested.
Price has since decided to step back from the situation for her own sanity. 'I don't know what's true and what's not true,' she said on her podcast. 'I've decided to take a step back from everything and just continue with my life.'
