Katie Price Breaks Silence on Husband Lee Andrews' Arrest, But 'Spying' Claims Debunked

Katie Price has broken her silence after her husband Lee Andrews vanished from a mystery airport, only to reveal he was behind bars – but not for the reasons she initially claimed. The former glamour model told fans Andrews was jailed on suspicion of spying, but it has emerged he is detained over a 'private civil matter'.

Last week, Andrews was due to appear on Good Morning Britain with his wife, but failed to make his flight from Dubai. He sent Katie and ITV a video allegedly from Muscat International, but it later emerged he was at Dubai International's Terminal Two. A day later, he was arrested.

Katie said she spoke to Andrews on May 27 and was told he had been jailed, despite her previously denying this. She claimed his father texted her to say authorities in the United Arab Emirates believed he was a spy. 'It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy,' she said of their one-minute phone call.

However, reports suggest Andrews has not been held on spying charges but over a private civil matter. He is due to be released on Monday after paying a four-figure fine. Katie admitted she told him he was the 'most hated man in Britain' and demanded he give a sit-down interview to reveal all.
