Johannes Radebe assures fans he will still dance on Strictly

Johannes Radebe has confirmed that he will continue to dance on Strictly Come Dancing, despite taking on a new role as one of the show's hosts. The professional dancer, who will co-host alongside Emma Willis and Josh Widdicombe, told The Sun: 'I'm not hanging up my dancing shoes yet. I will definitely be throwing some shapes.'

Radebe's future on the dance floor had been the subject of speculation after he was removed from promotional material for returning pros and Emma Willis suggested on BBC Radio 2 that he would no longer dance. However, the dancer said: 'There's a plan in action, that's all I'm going to say. You're going to see JoJo!'

While it is unclear whether Radebe will partner with a celebrity, he is expected to take part in group routines. Fans had expressed concern on Reddit, with one user writing: 'Selfishly, I'm a bit heartbroken about what this means for the Sunday results show group numbers.'

Strictly judge Shirley Ballas praised the new hosting lineup, telling Metro: 'Everybody loves JoJo. He's a well-loved figure. It's an absolute delight that we got him.' The new series is set to air in September with a mix of new and familiar pros and the same judging panel.
