Jimmy Bullard to Boycott I'm A Celeb Final After Explosive Feud
Jimmy Bullard Boycotts I'm A Celeb Final Over Feud

Jimmy Bullard is reportedly refusing to attend Friday's live final of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! following a furious bust-up with campmate Adam Thomas. The former Premier League footballer stunned viewers during a high-stakes trial in South Africa when he suddenly refused to continue, shouting the infamous words: "I'm a celebrity... get me out of here!"

Trial Controversy

During the trial, Bullard's challenge partner Adam Thomas was covered in ants and bugs, desperately trying to win. Despite this, Bullard said he didn't have it in him anymore and ended the trial instantly. An explosive row erupted between the two men, described as the most vicious in the show's history. Thomas confronted Bullard immediately after the trial, accusing him of "taking the p***" and selfishness, as Bullard's decision to quit meant Thomas was also technically eliminated on the spot.

Bullard's Reason

Bullard later revealed that his headspace wasn't right because his father had been struggling with health issues before he flew out to South Africa. He admitted that as soon as he saw a "door left open" to leave the show during that specific trial, his desire to return to his family in the UK completely overrode his commitment to the game.

ITV's Intervention

In an unprecedented move, ITV bosses stepped in after the row to prevent Thomas from being unfairly sent home due to Bullard's exit. Producers allowed the remaining campmates to hold a private vote, and they unanimously decided that Thomas should be allowed to stay in the camp, effectively saving him from Bullard's sabotage.

Running Feud

Although the physical trials took place back in September 2025, the bad blood between the two stars has reportedly not simmered in the six months since. Reports claim that Bullard and Thomas have not spoken a single word to one another since filming ended, and the atmosphere remains so toxic that a reconciliation is currently considered impossible.

The Boycott

Bullard has reportedly informed producers he will not be attending the live final in London, set to air on Friday, April 24. He has told friends there is no way he will sit in the same room as Thomas, even if it means missing the big reunion and the crowning of the Ultimate Legend.

Huge Fine

By refusing to show up for the live finale, Bullard could be in direct breach of the contract he signed before flying to South Africa last year. ITV could therefore strip him of 20% of his total appearance fee, a move that could cost the former Soccer AM host tens of thousands of pounds in lost earnings.

The Finale

The final broadcast will be split into two parts, with the first kicking off at 7.30pm and the crowning ceremony taking place at 10pm. While the other celebrities will be present in the studio to watch the pre-recorded final trials and hear the public vote results, Bullard's seat is expected to remain empty as he continues his protest.
