Jessie J Announces She Is Officially Cancer Free After 11 Months
Jessie J Confirms She Is Cancer Free After Year-Long Battle

Jessie J has announced that she is officially cancer free, nearly a year after her initial diagnosis. The singer, 38, shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a video from the hospital where she had just received her annual check-up results.

Emotional Hospital Visit

In the clip, Jessie J admitted she was nervous before the MRI scan, saying: 'So I'm back for my yearly check-up, I'm actually s*****g myself, I'm not gonna lie. They told me there was no contrast, but I think there is based on this,' as she pointed to the cannula in her arm. She asked fans for 'positive vibes' and joked about needing a larger bucket for the scan.

After receiving the results, she wrote in the caption: 'RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREE!! I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year.' The post was met with an outpouring of support from fans and celebrities, including Loose Women's Andrea McLean, who said: 'Ohhh this is WONDERFUL NEWS!!'

Cancer Journey

The singer, born Jessica Ellen Cornish, underwent surgery last June to remove one of her breasts after being diagnosed with early breast cancer. She later postponed tour dates due to a second surgery. Reflecting on her experience at the Music Industry Trust Awards, she said: 'This year has changed my whole world. My perspective, what battles I'm going to pick, when death comes knocking at your door, and you kind of have to answer and f****** kick it away, it just changes everything.'

Honest Reflections

As 2025 drew to a close, Jessie J shared a more vulnerable post, admitting she had been feeling 'the lowest' she had felt in a while. She wrote: 'This year has been heavy and hard... I'm crying a lot. Writing s*** down feeling really low tbh. The lowest I have felt in a while.' She encouraged others to let their emotions out, saying: 'It's healthy and normal to cry, and if someone you love is crying don't say 'oh don't cry' say 'come here'.'

Now, with her cancer-free status, Jessie J looks forward to a brighter future, having kicked death away from her door.
