Jesse Wood has told a court he is surviving on barely £1,000 a month and struggling to find work after his separation from Fearne Cotton. The 49-year-old musician, son of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood, made the claims during a hearing over speeding allegations.
With a potential driving ban looming, Jesse informed magistrates that in the year since the breakdown of his relationship, he has found it increasingly challenging to obtain employment and is currently relying on his life savings. He was caught driving at 27mph in a 20mph zone on the A4 Cromwell Road in West London last April.
Jesse, who has two children with Fearne and two from a previous relationship, told the court: 'I was due to be employed in 2024 but it got delayed. At the moment I'm living off my savings and I am looking to get employment.' He expressed remorse, acknowledging it was his fourth speeding offence.
The court heard he already had nine penalty points for similar offences in the previous 12 months. He received a six-month driving ban and three more points. His fine was reduced to £89, plus a £36 surcharge and £130 in costs.
Jesse has since moved on romantically and is now in a relationship with former Made In Chelsea star Gemma Gregory. Fearne Cotton also has a new partner, Rivals director Elliot Hegarty.
