Kaleb Cooper has offered a positive update on Jeremy Clarkson's health, following the television presenter's recent heart surgery. The young farmer, who stars alongside Clarkson in the Amazon Prime series 'Clarkson's Farm', told ITV's This Morning that Clarkson is in 'good form'.
Speaking to hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, Cooper said: 'He seems really good, he's on really good form, I was with him this morning, we had a cup of coffee before coming to do this.' The update comes after Clarkson underwent cardiac surgery in October 2024 after experiencing worrying symptoms, including chest tightness.
In the upcoming fifth series of Clarkson's Farm, the former Top Gear presenter is rushed to hospital for the procedure. He disclosed that his heart was not receiving a sufficient blood supply, leaving him dangerously close to suffering a heart attack. In the show, Clarkson tells Cooper: 'I'm back and not dead. The Grim Reaper will have to wait. It was f***ing close, though.'
Clarkson explained that he had been scrolling on his phone when he developed pins and needles in his arm, which prompted him to seek medical help. Doctors found that one of his coronary arteries was totally blocked, another was severely narrowed, and a third had become clogged and formed branches. 'So my heart wasn't getting any blood,' he said.
Cooper also shared an update on his personal life, revealing he has welcomed his third child. He joked: 'I'm probably going to get castrated this year, I don't want any more babies! I've got three kids, and they're all amazing kids but life is very busy. I'm going to stop at three and hopefully enjoy fatherhood with the three kids.'
The new series of Clarkson's Farm airs on Amazon Prime Video from Wednesday, June 3.
