James Bourne's Instagram account has disappeared, months after the Busted star pulled out of the band's tour due to health issues. Fans attempting to access his profile are met with a blank page stating: 'Sorry this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.'
The 41-year-old musician stepped away from Busted's co-headline arena tour with McFly in September last year, just hours before they were due on stage. In a statement at the time, Bourne cited 'health problems' and said he needed to focus on 'medical stuff'. Bandmate Matt Willis later told audiences that Bourne was 'really f***ing sick' and that the situation had escalated 'f***ing fast'.
In April this year, Bourne revealed he had a plan for 'major surgery' that he hoped would 'extend my life and hopefully make me well enough to come back to what I love the most which is touring and making music'. He added: 'It really sucks to be out of the game. But there is hope!'
The disappearance of his Instagram account has sparked concern among fans, as it typically indicates either removal by the platform or deletion by the account holder. Neither Bourne nor his representatives have commented on the matter.
