ITV executives are reportedly furious after discovering that Olivia Attwood's televised wedding to Bradley Dack was not legally binding. The former Love Island star and the footballer documented their nuptials in a 12-episode series for the network, but it has emerged that the ceremony at the Bvlgari Hotel in Knightsbridge was a sham, as the venue lacked a marriage license.
Sources claim that Olivia and Bradley had planned to sign legal documents at a registry office in Cheshire later, but no official record of the marriage exists. Olivia allegedly chose not to make the union legally binding due to 'mistruths'. ITV bosses were reportedly blindsided by the revelation, learning of it only through news reports over the weekend.
An insider told MailOnline that bosses were 'stunned' and angered that Olivia had not informed them. The network is now bracing for potential complaints to Ofcom from viewers who may feel misled by the series, 'Olivia Marries Her Match'. The show, produced by Lifted Entertainment, offered behind-the-scenes access including dress fittings and pre-wedding parties.
Since their split in February, Bradley has faced cheating allegations. Olivia's friendship with Pete Wicks was also said to have caused tension. The Mirror has approached ITV and Olivia's representatives for comment, while Bradley's representative declined to comment.
