Adam Thomas broke down in tears on I'm a Celebrity... South Africa after receiving an emotional message from his family. The Emmerdale actor, one of the last five contestants, became tearful as he heard his children and partner Caroline during the phone call segment.
His son said: 'I love you so much, Dad, I've been trying to be the man in the house like you said. But it's not the same without you.' His partner added: 'The house is just so quiet without you. And we're just all lost here, you are our world. I know you will be smashing it.'
After the call ended, Adam was consoled by fellow campmates as he cried: 'Oh my God! I can't take anymore of this.' He later said in the Bush Telegraph: 'It just doesn't get better than that. It really doesn't. It was so beautiful. It was like, the perfect way to end the night. I can't tell you how much I needed that.'
Fans of the show were also moved, with many taking to social media to share their reactions. One viewer wrote: 'Adam's phone call was so cute,' while another said: 'Adam’s phone call made me cry so much. What a lovely, sweet family.'
