The 25th series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! launched on Sunday night with a spectacular first episode. Kelly Brook, 45, has already been tipped as the favourite to win by viewers. One fan posted on X: 'It's early days. But I want Kelly Brook to win.' Meanwhile, Ruby Wax, 72, and AngryGinge, 24, were voted by the public to take part in the first Bushtucker Trial.
The episode featured a dramatic helicopter parachute jump for Kelly, Shona McGarty, 34, Aitch, 25, Martin Kemp, 64, and comedian Eddie Kadi, 42. After landing, the celebrities competed for two coveted seats in the getaway car, which offers the comfiest beds and steak for dinner. Aitch and Eddie secured the win after wading through offal and slime to unlock a key fob.
Kelly's reunion with Ant and Dec was notably tension-free, despite their reported fallout in 2009. At the time, Kelly alleged they got her fired from Britain's Got Talent due to a 'clash of egos'. As she prepared to jump from the helicopter, she yelled, 'Ant and Dec, I'm coming for you!'
The losers—Kelly, Martin, Shona, Alex Scott, 41, Ruby Wax, and Lisa Riley, 49—travelled in the grimy 'cockie' van. They faced thousands of critters to retrieve stars for camp, securing six stars but receiving emu neck as a reward. Ruby commented: 'It was repulsive. For six stars we should have got a burger.'
