A Household Cavalry soldier serving the Royal Family stands accused of conducting simultaneous relationships with two women while hiding behind his prestigious position, a London court has heard in shocking revelations.
Ben Chidgey, 31, allegedly manipulated both women into believing they were in exclusive relationships with him, with one victim discovering his double life through devastating social media evidence.

Prosecutor Luke Staton detailed how Chidgey, who serves in the same regiment as Prince William and Prince Harry, met both women in 2021 and maintained parallel relationships with them for months. The deception only unravelled when one woman made a chilling discovery on social media.
"She saw a photograph of the other woman on his social media and immediately recognised her as someone she had seen in the background of a video call with Ben," the court heard. This digital breadcrumb led to the entire house of cards collapsing.
