Prince Harry believes that a 'royal disaster' is looming once Prince William ascends the throne, according to a royal expert. The Duke of Sussex, 41, has reportedly made spiteful remarks about his older brother behind closed doors, with their rift showing no signs of healing.
Harry's Private Remarks About William
An insider told Heat magazine that Harry has been 'very snarky about William,' accusing him of 'drooling over the power' and predicting he will be 'a total nightmare once he gets it.' The source added, 'He says people don't know the real William the way he does, and once they see the truth they'll be shocked.'
Harry has also allegedly questioned William's temperament, calling him 'too vindictive and cruel to be a good ruler, not to mention incredibly stubborn and hot-headed.' The insider continued, 'Everyone knows William likes being in charge but struggles when things don't go his way, he's been that way since they were kids, very touchy and quick to explode, according to Harry.'
Prediction of 'Epic Disaster'
Another source told Heat that 'Harry is predicting that once William is handed the keys to the Kingdom it will be an epic disaster.' The source noted that while Harry does not openly say he is rooting for William to fail, 'it does seem that way.'
These comments come as the Sussexes prepare to return to the UK for an Invictus Games event in July. King Charles has reportedly mellowed toward Harry in recent months, but the rift between the brothers persists.
Diana's Former Butler Weighs In
Princess Diana's former butler and close friend Paul Burrell stated that Diana would have been 'devastated' by the rift. 'If their mother was here today, she would bring them back together...
