Haribo fans have been left shocked after discovering that a classic sweet they thought was a key is actually a dummy. The revelation came after a Reddit user sparked a debate by asking what others called the sweet, with opinions divided between 'key' and 'dummy'.
Haribo has now confirmed that the sweet is indeed a dummy, settling the argument once and for all. The company even sells packets and tubs exclusively featuring the dummy-shaped sweets.
This comes after a similar confusion over the green Haribo gummy bear, which many believed was apple or lime flavoured but is actually strawberry. The flavours are listed on the packaging and website, but the revelation still surprised many.
