Comedian and actor Guz Khan has confirmed that his television series 'Guz Khan's Custom Cars' has been cancelled after just one series. The show, which aired on Quest earlier this year, followed Khan as he explored the world of car modification despite having no mechanical experience.
Khan, best known for his roles in 'Man Like Mobeen' and as a contestant on 'Taskmaster' in 2021, revealed the news during an interview on Ed Gamble and Matthew Crosby's Radio X show. He stated, 'They did not renew a season two,' adding, 'These things happen.'
The eight-episode series featured Khan teaming up with his best friend Lumboo and mechanic Darryn to build a custom car. Despite its cancellation, the show received positive feedback from viewers, with one calling it 'a good show full of Car Nuts' and another praising Khan as 'hilarious'.
Khan finished third in his series of 'Taskmaster', behind runner-up Desiree Burch and winner Alan Davies. His other television credits include 'The Last Leg' and 'The Russell Howard Hour'.
